Treatment

Depression

One way or another we have all been there: the sadness, the lack of motivation to start or finish something, the isolation or feeling that no one feels like we do. The feeling that we have lost something, but what?

The helplessness that we will not find that which we have lost. And this might lead to sleepless nights and days that seem unproductive.  Together we will figure out what has triggered your symptoms of depression and begin the healing process.

Anxiety

We have all had anxiety and been in the grasp of restlessness and worries. Having some anxiety sometimes can keep us on our toes and make us succeed due to our vigilance.

However, anxiety can become a barrier to success and peace if it takes ahold of our minds and we feel a loss of control. Then, instead of focusing the “right” amount, we focus too little or too much because our worries drive our bus and we are now in the passenger seat.

Anxiety serves a purpose. What is the purpose of yours? Let's find it so you can befriend and use it to your advantage. Then anxiety will transform.

Trauma

When I say I understand, I don't mean that I have been in your situation. But I have felt pain like you have. So I understand the feeling of pain from going through something that was out of my control. I mean that I feel empathy and I am here.

Sometimes we will never find the reason why something happened in our lives. But we can find the path(s) to ultimately forgiving life and others and yes, maybe ourselves, for what was broken. We can use all the those pieces to build a new us.  What can we build now?       So many possibilities....

Creativity

If you are a creative person (we all are in one way or another), then you are probably most fulfilled when you are creating and living what you are passionate about. This way of living can come with its unique struggle. Therapy can help you explore your imagination and expanding and merging it with your everyday life.

LGBTQ

Although a person’s sexual or romantic orientation or gender identity might not be a source of distress, people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, can find that the social stigma of living as a minority is a source of stress, anxiety, or depression.

When searching for therapeutic services, finding a qualified mental health professional who has experience and familiarity with the challenges members of the LGBTQIA community often experience can be critical to successful therapy outcomes.

More to explore…

Sometimes we just need to talk to someone even if our issues or experiences don't seem too severe. Other issues or experiences that we can address during treatment are: decision making, grief, life transitions, anger management, men’s and women’s issues, spiritual inquiry, life purpose, stress, work or career development, personal growth, pain management, among many others.

We will start where you are and explore what else…
